XRUIOS Development - UI/UX Design For An XR Shell OS - Example 2 (Shell OS, Detailed, Repeats)
This all is overall a look at some of the UI designs i've made for my Shell OS within the last three years now! Not all UIs are still being used, I started these designs at around 16 years of age, so there might be a huge quality here and there, although within the last year i've updated most to my "standard"!
This was the original UI for notifications, where users would see something to the left, click it and see info as well as options!
This is an update of the UI above! It's cleaner, has a more streamlined look and is better for the eyes while also having better scaling!
A small contacts UI! Here, you can create contact groups! For example, you could have a "work" and "friends" group, where the same person can be saved differently for a home and business contact!
This is a continuation of the contacts UI! Here, you can see an option to select a contact and text out their ID, like a phone! However, you can also see the option to create a VR lobby with them as well as a video call!
This is a photo editing UI made for VR! It was never finished but many of the concepts within it was used!
This is Railway, a store where developers would be able to enter their games and give minimal returns! More on this in a later update!
A simple screenshare UI! This may or may not be changed completely in the final product, still not sure!
Here is the file sharing UI! It's simplistic and made to be like airshare! However, the final version within the OS will have a few more artistic additions like showing groups that connect!
This is a simple script checker, ensuring that an app does not have any banned libraries or try to go over the system limits! This will likely change the most and least within the final, it will make sense later!
This is a card for user info! When sharing your contacts or someone else's, they will initially see this as a 3D object!
A mini radial menu, made to help make "right click" options! You would snap your finger and this would appear, allowing you to do things to an object!
The what's new page! While it is not finished to this day and still is being worked on, it is honestly one of my greatest joys as a developer and I hope I can finish it soon!
The console system! This would allow users to use commands they make with voice commands such as "Close item" or "Get Item X and set at Location Z"
Some file UIs, made to be simple and able to be understood in a glance, which is important for VR!
